Since ACT first announced that a new version of the ACT test (the Core ACT) would be released in April 2025, and the current ACT test (the Classic ACT) would be phased out over the course of 2025, we have had few specifics about what the Core ACT will look like. However, with the release of the first Core ACT practice test this week, that has now changed. Although it’s hard to draw concrete conclusions from a single practice test, this test does provide a welcome glimpse into the kinds of changes students and educators can expect on the new ACT.
Check out the new ACT practice test here. Be sure to scroll to the bottom, where it says “Full-Length Practice Test.”
As always, Academic Approach will continue to keep you updated as we continue to learn more about the changes to the ACT.
