Chicago Public Schools announced the application period for the 2025-2026 school year (Kindergarten through 12th grade) will be September 24th 2024 through November 15th 2024. Remember to mark you calendars for the November 15th deadline! CPS is offering a parent information session (date to be determined) about the application process for the 2025-2026 school year. You can sign up via their google form here.
Applications are submitted through CPS’s online platform GoCPS. More information about GoCPS and the registration process can be found here. You’ll be asked to create a GoCPS account.
High school applicants should plan to take the CPS High School Admissions Test (HSAT). Current CPS and Charter students will be given the HSAT onWednesday, October 9th 2024. Non-CPS students may take the HSAT on October 19-20th or October 26th-27th but will need to register for their test date.
