Refer a Friend, Help a Child: Join Bernie’s Book Bank

Dear Academic Approach Families and Colleagues:

Since I founded Academic Approach in 2001, we have appreciated each and every referral you have offered us—they have helped us positively impact more students and grow as an education company. Thanks to your support, we have taught over 10,000 students through our one-on-one tutoring services and over 100,000 students through our school programs services in Chicago Public Schools.

At the start of the 2023, we began a partnership with Bernie’s Book Bank (berniesbookbank.org) — a Chicago-based non-profit dedicated to providing free, high-quality books to K-6 children across Chicagoland. Bernie’s wonderful staff and inspiring mission perfectly align with Academic Approach’s values of empowering students with knowledge, cultivating strong reading habits, and providing equal access to education for all, regardless of socioeconomic status.

Today, we are excited to announce a new referral program and an official partnership with Bernie’s Book Bank on behalf of you, our clients. Going forward, for every referred family or school that works with us, Academic Approach will donate $50 to Bernie’s Book Bank.

With every $50 donated, Bernie’s will be able to distribute 24 books, with 3 children each receiving a bag of 8 books. All January and February 2023 referrals will also be retroactively rewarded.
