Brian Kirchner joined Academic Approach in 2018 and currently serves as the Lead Director of Student Success of the New York City and Boston offices. In this role, Brian helps manage and support tutors, school partnerships, and 1-on-1 programs to assure students achieve their academic goals.

With a dual degree in English and Music from Muhlenberg College, Brian is a long veteran of test prep, curriculum development, and teacher management. His passion for education began as an independent tutor and ESL instructor assisting students of all ages with their writing and reading skills. Over the last 13 years, Brian assisted in managing operations, school partnerships, and tutoring for several education and test prep companies including: Five Points Learning, Kaplan Test Prep, and The Princeton Review.

Along with these educational endeavors, Brian is an award-winning playwright and musician and continues to work on both musical projects and theatrical productions in and around New York City.
