Connor graduated from the University of Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts in French Literature and Music. Throughout undergrad, they tutored charter school students in Greater Grand Crossing with the university’s Neighborhood Schools Program. Before coming to Academic Approach, they spent three years as an AmeriCorps Member with Youth & Opportunity United, an Evanston-based education nonprofit which provides free after-school programming. There, they wrote and facilitated enrichment curricula as well as provided homework support for elementary school students.
