AP Exam Format & Structure

AP Exams typically consist of multiple-choice and free-response sections, with certain subjects having unique formats. At Academic Approach, we ensure our students are fully prepared for all facets of these exams, equipping them with strategies for both multiple-choice questions and free-response tasks.

AP Exam Administration & Scoring

AP Exams are administered by the College Board and scored on a scale of 1 to 5. We thoroughly guide our students through this process, making sure they understand how their knowledge will be assessed and helping them navigate any additional assessments that are part of their chosen AP courses.

Dates & Deadlines

AP Exams are only offered during a two-week period each year in May. At Academic Approach, we encourage our students to plan ahead, ensuring they have ample time to prepare and build the necessary skills to excel in their exams.

Cost

The cost of AP Exams is set by the College Board. While these fees can add to the financial burden of education, the potential return—in terms of college credits earned and future opportunities—makes them a worthy investment.
